Our Guarantee
Buyer's responsibilities-
*Have pup examined by a licensed veterinarian within
time alloted on guarantee, usually a week from the date
he comes home to you. Seller must be informed of the
results of vet check whether good or bad, by midnight
on same day, via email. It is not necessary to obtain a
written report from your vet, just inform me how it
went. Failure to do this by buyer will result in the
cancellation of this guarantee! No excuses. You, the
buyer will invalidate any/all terms of contract by not
notifying me of results and you will terminate your
rights to any compensation, ever. The
guarantee/contract is invalid if buyer conditions are
not met!!!
*Provide pup with routine preventative care such as
but not limited to:
Annual physical exam by your vet.
Follow vet guidelines on de-worming, heartworm
prevention and vaccinations.
Provide a premium food.
House the animal correctly, no chains in the backyard.
Health guarantee-
This pup is guaranteed for six months against fatal and
life altering congenital/genetic disease which adversely
affects the health of the animal. This includes severe
hip Dysplacia which hampers dogs movement and
requires surgery to return him to ambulatory state.
Kidney, heart, pancreas, spine and liver problems of a
severe, life threatening nature. If the dog dies within 6
month time frame, the buyer will pay to have it
autopsied. If reason is congenital, genetic seller will
replace pup within 12 months of report.
This guarantee does not cover what we in the Bulldog
breeds consider normal: cherry eye, entropion,
ectropion, "loose" hips or knees, allergies, soft palate
issues, trachea issues, stenotic nares, inverted tails,
fertility issues, parasitic, fungal or bacterial infection,
respiratory infection, undescended testes, localized
demodex etc. Buyer understands that Bulldogs are
special and that special consideration must be given if
buying one of these breeds. We will not cover death if
your pup has been put under (for surgery etc) and has
died. Putting a Bulldog under requires a skilled and
knowledgeable vet and all necessary precautions to be
in place.
All items covered by this guarantee are by replacement
only. You must return affected pup to us (unless we
request euthanasia) and we will replace him/her. We
do not give refunds either full or partial. Buyer is
responsible for all shipping, transportation costs to
send affected pup back to us and to ship replacement
pup to buyer. If you refuse to return pup or have it
euthanized, you forfeit your right to any compensation,
ever.
Seller is not responsible for any medical expenses
incurred. Buyer is aware that owning a pup means
trips to the vet and bills. Buyer understands he/she
will be responsible for all vet bills. Pup has been vet
checked within 72 hours prior to leaving us and found
to be in good health. We will NOT sell a pup that shows
any sign of illness or injury.
As of the date of delivery, your puppy will be current on
vaccinations and de-worming as well as given coccidia
prevention/treatment. The buyer has been informed of
these. Buyer is aware puppy will need more
vaccinations and de-wormings and agrees to provide
these. Buyer understands that though his/her pup is
current on shots, more are needed to provide immunity
to disease. In some cases, if the pup is due for another
shot the day of shipping, we will not provide this shot.
Vaccination can be stressful enough on its own.
Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. Pup must be
paid in full before it leaves us.
Pup is guaranteed against Parvo Virus and Distemper
for 5 days upon arrival to your home. Buyer must have
ELISA test performed within this 5 days if claiming
either of these viruses.
This guarantee does not include coccidia or Kennel
Cough, both of which can be common in puppies.
Kennel Cough is usually self limiting. Full recovery is
expected and on its own is not life threatening.
A pup showing serious signs of severe congenital defect
will be replaced as follows:
Animal must show defect within the covered time, up to
6 months of age. Seller must be notified of the problem
within 2 days of diagnosis. Buyer must have reports
from 2 licensed vets from two unassociated
veterinarian clinics. These reports must reach same
diagnosis and conclusion. Buyer must obtain all vet
records and get them to seller within 5 days of first
request. Buyer must return animal to seller within 10
days of report of trouble. Seller will replace pup with
one of equal or greater value within 12 months.
Replacement pup is chosen by seller.
A pup with a defect must be returned to seller, or if the
situation is grave enough, euthanized with prior
permission from seller, for buyer to be qualified for
replacement pup. Replacement pup will be one of equal
value but is seller's choice. Affected pup will be
replaced within 12 months of the affected pup returned
to us.
No refund in full or part will be given.
The returned pup must be in good condition, other
than specified problem. It must not be spayed or
neutered. Buyer is responsible for all costs to return
pup to seller. Buyer is also responsible for costs to get
the replacement pup to buyer.
No replacement will be given to seller if pup is
euthanized without seller's permission. No
replacement will be given if pup dies and buyer does
not perform autopsy or if autopsy does not show
congenital defect caused death. Seller has the right to
request pup's remains to be autopsied by state lab,
buyer pays for this.
Any physical problem which is or could be caused by
accident or injury, neglect or poor diet is not covered in
this guarantee.
There is no guarantee or warranty that buyer will be
able to breed or show the pup, regardless of show or
breeding potential. This includes breeding soundness
and registration.
This contract is null and void if the terms are not met.
This includes registration papers due, if any on the pup.
By not returning our signed contract, buyer gives up
any right to compensation from seller, ever. Buyer, by
not returning our signed contract to us, is buying pup
AS IS with no guarantee, warranty. We will need
confirmation from you that you are purchasing pup
without guarantee in this case. If we are shipping your
pup, we will not ship until we have received the signed
contract/guarantee. You will be sent this contract to
sign and return approximately 48 hours prior to
shipping. Any delay in returning signed contract will
probably result in boarding fees as you have now
delayed the shipment of your pup(s).
This contract is good for original buyer only and is not
transferable. If buyer refuses to pay balance, changes
mind, does not take timely delivery of the pup, the
deposit will be forfeited. Deposits are NOT refundable
for any reason other than pup is found to have serious
health issues at our vet check. Life threatening illness.
Seller does not guarantee AKC registration on any pup
eligible for it. We have had no issues with AKC but, we
the sellers of this pup, have no prior knowledge of your
standing with AKC, record keeping abilities or ability to
follow written directions. We will assist you in
obtaining AKC, but will not guarantee it. If you are in
good standing with the AKC, you will not have any
issues obtaining AKC registration on our pups.
Buyer agrees and understands that this contract is the
only guarantee set forth. Buyer also
understands/agrees that place of venue and
jurisdiction is Powesheik County, Iowa. Should buyer
chose to pursue matters in this court of law, Seller will
request reasonable attorney fees from Buyer for Seller's
attorney.
No other warranties, either expressed or implied.
Adults are sold as is with full disclosure to buyer and
no guarantee. Pups are sold with full disclosure of
results of vet checks.
Because these are bulldogs, we strongly urge you the
buyer to either request the PAWS warranty or for you to
contact a pet insurance company. We recommend this
one. That way, if you have issues, not covered by our
contract, you are still covered. Dollar for dollar,
Bulldogs cost more in vet fees than probably any other
breed.

good standing with the AKC, you will not have any
issues obtaining AKC registration on our pups.
Buyer agrees and understands that this contract is the
only guarantee set forth. Buyer also
understands/agrees that place of venue and
jurisdiction is Powesheik County, Iowa. Should buyer
chose to pursue matters in this court of law, Seller will
request reasonable attorney fees from Buyer for Seller's
attorney.
No other warranties, either expressed or implied.
